Julie's mom has a beautiful home in NK and I tell her that 4th of July almost beats Christmas because there is little I love more than sailing (capsizing) a boat down there. Julie wanted to do a late fall shoot there and the weather was very kind to us. The hour before sunset was beautiful with the sun setting perfectly as we wrapped up the session. It's an awesome thing to grow up with someone (Julie was the french horn player in back of me in marching band) and now see them as a mom. Being a mom is a role she fills effortlessly. I love the choices Julie had prints made of as well. Her house is always full of actual prints- a reminder to everyone that prints should live not the wall, not the computer.
