Thank you so much to the 74 families I worked with in 2017! It has been another successful year at SPM Photo and I look forward to seeing your families grow in 2018!
Emma is a beautiful and radiant senior. Emma took a negative that happened during her high school experience and created a positive by founding a non-profit organization called Press Pause. Press Pause is a campaign dedicated to today's youth. Her mission is to bring awareness to digital abuse, and teenagers losing themselves to society. I love the message Emma is getting out there to middle and high school students. She is mature beyond her years and it's easy to see that she will go on to do great things.
Kelly is an all around sweet and pretty girl and Kate's go-to babysitter. She just finished her senior year at my alma mater, Cranston West, and is off to college in the fall. I was thrilled to run into her mom at a baby shower and she inquired about senior photos. She said she knew it was late for them but they wanted something beyond the ones taken for the yearbook. Her outfits and smiles were adorable. I wish you the best of luck in the fall, Kelly!
Nina's mom described her in her email as artsy, creative and fun. She was all three of those things and more. She brought her friend along and the three of us had a lot to talk about. The girls take photography in school so I think that Nina had a natural inclination to pose in just the right way. When I suggested some offbeat, run-down mill buildings, she was all about it! I like it when a session can take a turn for the unexpected (and I was even more excited about the end result with the sun flare!) Nina- I wish you a wonderful, fun senior year. *On a side note- I'm noticing my galleries do not view properly in Internet Explorer. Try using Firefox for the ease of scrolling through each photo.
Abbey had the genuine beauty that makes a portrait so easy to photograph. She took direction with ease, had perfectly coordinated outfits and was open to suggestions about what to do and how to pose. She will soon be beginning her senior year and is excited about all the wonderful things in her future- the prom, college visits and all the sports teams she plays for in the fall and spring. I wish you the best in all you do Abbey!
