Giveaway! Cranston, RI Portrait and Children's Photography
/With some of the nice weather we had this past week, it made me feel like spring has almost sprung! I want to get out there and shoot, shoot, shoot. So, let's get a giveaway going. For many photographers, word of mouth is the best advertising and Facebook has joined the ranks! To enter the giveaway, simply suggest my Facebook page to friends. Post a comment on this blog telling me you have done so and how many friends you suggested it to. Next Sunday, I will have random.org draw a number. The winner can choose their prize:
1) 30% off the price of a future children's, family, portrait, couples or pet shoot (sorry, not valid on shoot or packages already booked)
OR....
2) 3 free professionally printed 8x10 of a future shoot- Metallic, linen, matte or glossy...you choose!
I can't wait to get to say:
Flashback Friday- Cranston, RI Portrait Photography
/So, maybe I should call this Flashback any-day-of-the-week. I seem to NOT have it down for a series specifically on a Friday. However, this week, it will feature my niece Molly, who celebrates her 4th birthday on the 16th! This was from her birthday last year. Bryan and I are excited to go to her birthday party next Sunday. Oh, and did I mention I couldn't pick a picture so they are several, including my G-Gma Hess. This is Bryan's grandmother whom I adore. She is so talented and knitted me a neck warmer this year for Christmas.
Flashback Friday- Victoria + 3! -Cranston, RI Family Photography
/Lynn is a co-worker of mine and years ago had Victoria. She loved being a mom and decided to try for another....and then the triplets came! They are so much fun to work with because each child has their own distinct personality that they play off of one another. Here's a picture from the day that I loved.
I heart Faces-Innocent Wonder
/I had a super time photographing this little guy yesterday and while there were puppets, props, blocks, balls and toys galore, he was more interested in my lens. While we were trying to get a pic with Henry and his dad, he was inching a little bit closer and closer..... The next pic was his hand over the lens. Oh the wonder!

Natalie and Ryan- Cranston, RI Portrait Photography
/So, where to begin on the history of knowing my dear friend "Ame-ski-doo-ski" (or Amy as normal people call her). Well, we grew up next door to one another and, with the help of her brother Rob, did all the stupid, fun and amazing things kids do like setting up a string can telephone system between our houses. Fast forward about twenty years and it's so great that I now get to see Amy and her beautiful children. Congratulations to Amy and Ken on welcoming Ryan into their family! I have a feeling Natalie is going to enjoy being a big sister and whooooooooooole lot.
