S and R's Valentine's Day Mini Session- Cranston, RI Photography
/Scarlett and Raleigh came in to do a quick little Valentine's Day session and Scarlett showed Raleigh the ropes. He wasn't a fan of my studio lights so Scarlett did a great job giving him toys to play with so he would be more interested in that than me :) Great job, Scarlett! Now taking applications for assistants... hahah!
S's Family Studio Session- Cranston, RI Studio Session
/S stopped by with mom and dad to update their family photos and she brought her spunky little personality. I've been photographing her since she was born and I can't wait to plan her 4th birthday session!
The Z Siblings
/These three sweet kids pulled off a surprise for their mom after the holidays. We originally did a session and the weather did not cooperate. We tried to reschedule but with the kids away at college, it wasn't working out so we secretly hatched a plan. They snuck out of the house to get Chipotle and we did this session. I tagged their mom on FB and their parents were shocked! It was really fun to do this and they are really awesome "kids."

Fall holiday sessions- Part 1
/I wanted to offer something a little bit different this year so I went with a more urban setting for my Rhode Island holiday mini sessions. Normally I have a more rural farm setting but I know from personal experience with my own engagement photos, how much the city adds to a photos. The skyline, the buildings, the colors-- they make for a beautiful palette. Each family had their own style and I just really enjoyed seeing their personalities shine through.

Jeremy is 5- Cranston, RI Portrait Photography
/Jeremy stopped by the studio for a few new portraits. His eyes are the most beautiful shade of blue. I think my favorite thing about these photos is that Paw Patrol made it in. Can't have a five year old without his trusty toys! Don't ever be hesitant to include your child's favorite book or toy in the photos. It will be a great reminder down the line.
The T Family- Wicked Tulips, Johnston, RI
/I love that I can call my friend Julie with crazy ideas and she's A OK with it. Like this time, when I told her to wake her kids up very early on a Saturday, drive an hour and meet me to do photos in the rain at a tulip farm! First of all, no one should ever listen to someone who says wake your kids up hahaha! It did turn out to be the perfect setting. Even though it was drizzling, the field was empty and the kids had the whole show garden to themselves. I loved taking their portrait and I ended up going back to grab a few of my son the next day. Be sure to check out Wicked Tulips next year. You don't want to miss it!
Izzy- Rhode Island Lifestyle Newborn, Cranston, RI Family Photography
/This family is beautiful inside and out. I grew up with Michael and photographing his family has been so much fun. They ended up ordering a family portrait as a large canvas for over their fireplace and I received a photo of the final product. It looks great-- don't be afraid to order large canvases. They are such a statement piece for your home!
Parker is 2- Cranston, RI Family Photography, Johnston, RI Portrait
/Heather and I planned this session with warm weather in mind but New England weather has taken us all by surprise this year. The day of Parker's session was cloudy but as we pulled in to start the session, it started to pour. However, as they say, if you don't like the weather in New England, wait a minute. Sure enough, after a quick stop at the library to play with the train set, we were able to get back out there. The clouds didn't deter Parker from running around and seeing all the fun stuff the park had to offer (like a giant digger and backhoe behind a fence)!
The H Family- Providence, RI Portrait Photography
/Mom and Dad met on the Providence College campus, both worked there, got married there and of course, wanted to have their family photos there. I thought it was the perfect location for their photos. It was a place with special meaning and they felt right at home. The architecture of the buildings was original and provided an awesome backdrop.
